Week end pour un mariage. Accuel chaleureux, bon etat des installations. Petit dejeuner très bon, servi avec vaiselle ancienne en porcelaine. Notre chambre était très petite. Impossible d'y séjourner convenablement si vous avez deux valises car il n'y a même pas de place pour les ouvrir. Mise à disposition des velos, mise à disposition du coin cuisine partagée.

Kathy was absolutely delightful, making us feel so welcomed! It’s a great area to stay in, easy to walk to the shops/restaurants in Ocean Grove, the beach and a short walk to Asbury Park. It was raining so we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful courtyard area of the Inn. And we had to leave early for an event and didn’t get to enjoy breakfast. Wonderful place to stay and we look forward to going back!

It’s quiet, yet convenient to the beach, to downtown and to the auditorium and all of its activities. The manager Kathy was very welcoming and helpful. Her homemade breakfast fare was delicious. I hope to return to the Carriage hospitality and to my favorite quaint village, as soon as possible.

Lovely property a block off the beach. Cathy the property manager was very easy to deal with and is an excellent cook, breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend The Carriage House.

This place was absolutely DIVIVE! No complaints at all. Kathy was incredibly kind and accommodating, the establishment was impeccable and the breakfast was absolutely delicious with many options! I can’t wait to return!!

Very comfortable and awesome breakfast. The staff were very attentive to all our needs and Cathy greeted us upon arrival…I went for some rest and relaxation after my cancer journey and hearing this she upgraded us to a balcony room where I could sit outside and rest and listen to the ocean…Short distance is the beautiful Ocean Grove boardwalk and pier. Took a nice walk on the boardwalk into Asbury Park….short walk into town where there are shops and food. The bed and room were comfortable and decorated so warmly. Gina served an awesome home cooked breakfast! Must stay in this old Victorian town in this beautiful Victorian house.

The property was excellent. Nice, clean, Pleasant. Good service, Delicious Breakfasts. Kathy was such a pleasant person to communicate with. So down to earth. Went out of her way to accommodate me. I have already recommended this place to my friends. I will definitely be back.

I loved our stay. The only thing I can complain a little about is I wished breakfast started at 8 instead of 9. Everything else was perfect.

A Delightful Victorian B’NB
The Carriage House was a delightful Victorian inn a block or so from the ocean in Ocean Grove. My room was charming, clean and comfortable. The breakfast each morning were delicious and served buffet style, offering an assortment of quiche, breakfast casseroles, breads, fruit, juice and coffee and varied from day to day. They were amazing- all homemade. I was very pleased to stay for 2 nights. It was mid September, but parking was in front of the inn with no trouble. The B’NB was quiet and reasonably priced. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

The downside: walls between rooms not sound proofed enough, doors to hallway need trim to keep out bright hall light entering bedroom, food prep downstairs during evening for breakfast permeates the halls the night before for too long, trains and train whistles heard during night,

This place is adorable. It was gutted a couple of years ago so everything is brand new. It's a block from the boardwalk/beach and in a scenic little town a half mile from the activities of Asbury Park. The breakfast in the courtyard was outstanding.

With no way to control the temperature in our room, it was too cold one night and t warm 2 nights. And we just didn’t care for the European breakfast as much as we would have of an American breakfast.

The Carriage House was great. We were nervous at first because of the lengthy list of rules so prominently listed in every communication, which made me think that maybe the owners might be a bit on the grumpier side. Fortunately, they were delightful and Viktoria even went the extra mile to create wonderful vegan breakfasts for us each morning!

So cute and friendly! This site has sold one of its properties, so don’t get confused when looking for it upon arrival in Ocean Grove, like we did. Very sweet! Every room on unique. Very clean. Friendly staff. Very accommodating and helpful. Breakfasts were quite good, especially considering it was the off season. Will definitely return.
