One-of-a-kind property on a 120 feet of private beachfront and a half-acre of private lawn and grounds **. Walk for miles in either direction on the beach. Two master suites with queen beds and baths, and large bunkroom with four twin beds. Additional sleeping accommodations in upper level. The panoramic view living room features a baby grand piano and musical instruments. Enjoy movies and games in the upstairs "Mini Spaceneedle." Fantastic kitchen has all your needs. High speed WiFi internet and cable. Enjoy dinner on the deck as the sun sets. Escape to the garage for foosball and ping pong . Plenty of parking. Plenty of restaurants, amenities, and great golfing are just a short drive away in Oak Harbor or Coupeville. World class sights and hiking in Fort Ebey and Deception Pass State Parks are nearby.

This is an amazing property with a can't beat location and responsive host. We stayed here with another family to celebrate a birthday that was truly a vacation for us all!As others have mentioned previously, some of the outlets were not functioning and the appliances, mainly the coffee maker were wonky. At least the k-cup machine was working and well stocked. The third bedroom with the bunk beds for the kiddos, while amazing in its ability to sleep many, was a slight inconvenience as it was connected to the master bathroom and situated in a way that the kiddos had to walk through the bathroom and master bedroom to get to the living area. Something to consider for families with younger kiddos who go to the bathroom a lot at night or need to get to parents across the other side of the house.Also while the game room was a fun escape for the kiddos, there were random tools is relative close proximity to the air hockey table so they just had to be extra aware of their surroundings.Also for those sensitive to smells, while this doesn't impact the overall score, is meant to be an fyi as the linens did smell rather strong. Luckily the weather was great so we were able to air out the bedrooms but the first day/night was a bit challenging to get the detergent smell to dissipate. All in all however, we'd happily stay here again as it was our first time to the island!

The house was amazing and the location was beyond compare!!! We were steps to the shore and could hear the gentle lapping of the water. Sunsets were AMAZING! What an awesome place to relax and catch up with old friends!! The best part of my entire stay was walking down the beach in the morning and seeing a bald eagle on the shore!!!!The location is great and there are stores nearby. At the end of two full days of world-class hiking, it was nice to sit on the deck, soak in the sunset and enjoy a cold drink! Absolutely stunning!!The house had everything we needed and the owner was great to communicate with. One of my favorite stays ever!!

Excellent location and great accommodations. The best part of this property is its location. Right on the Sound, amazing sunsets, and easy drive to all things Whidbey Island. The kitchen is well-stocked with the essentials, plus some helpful extras. The kitchen, dining and living areas are large and great for meal prep and hang out. The back deck is fantastic. Other items to be aware of are that all bedrooms have a door to the outside, and several do not have a deadbolt. If you have littles, the stairs and the landing on the top floor could be a safety concern. Overall, just a really wonderful location and we hope to be back for our next Whidbey Island trip!

Two friends and I stayed here for a couple day reunion and loved it. If you are looking for fancy, this is not it. If you want absolutely stunning sunsets from the front patio, a kitchen that is stocked with everything you need to cook delicious meals, and musical instruments to play...then this is the place. Beach access a little tricky if you have mobility issues. Also wonderful birding. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Our Whidbey Island rental offered stunning oceanfront views, abundant wildlife (rabbits, deer, eagles, otters), and wonderful natural light. The location was ideal—peaceful yet convenient to shops and national parks, with an incredible oceanfront patio for meals. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, musical instruments, and a layout perfect for two families seeking separate spaces.However, our stay had some issues. Cleaners were still present at check-in, and a strong fabuloso smell lingered. Many exterior doors were difficult to operate, raising security concerns. Climate control was challenging; large windows caused heat buildup, but most didn't open. The top room's portable AC was insufficient, and opening the balcony door was complex. We had to clean a clogged dishwasher filter and ineffective vacuum filters. The drip coffee maker was broken. Mattresses were squeaky, and the bunk bed felt wobbly. Overall, the location is incredible, but the house needs an update and some basic fixes, price point notwithstanding.

Is Air Conditioning Important to you?

The 3 of us renting had these filters: 3 bedroom, 2 bath, waterfront, and air conditioning. Before specifics, we'd like to say our host, John, was available, helpful, and responsive. As to the property, we concur with reviews dating back from 2020 to the present regarding stained carpets, musty odor, broken blinds, dirty coffeemakers, and questionable cleanliness. Most importantly, the day we arrived was hot, but much cooler outside than in. We walked into an unbearably hot home. The main floor of the house: bedrooms/dining/living area, has NO air conditioning. Upstairs, where the comfy sofas and TV are, a window unit struggled to cool things down, but it took two days before we could watch TV. Downstairs, we wanted to open windows, but none of them open. We pulled down the blinds that weren't broken or missing. Our host responded immediately, buying us fans. We duct-taped sheets on the windows that didn't have blinds. What saved us was a cool front our third day.Important note to ourselves and VRBO: Don't assume the filter of air conditioning will give accurate results.

WOWOWOWOW Sun sets

This was exactly as advertised, though I think the host underplayed how amazing the sunsets are (if you are as lucky as we were with the weather during our stay) We will 100% stay here next time we are visiting our family on the island. The host was clear and accurate in his communication and everything is as you see it in the picture. It is literally right on the beach- I could throw a rock into the surf at high tide! The best VRBO experience we've ever had.

Beautiful location, with ways to enjoy the ocean view both inside (from most rooms in the house), or outside (on the deck or just steps away on the beach). The house was very clean and everything we needed was provided (kitchenware, linens etc) The piano was in tune and playable (not always the case, in our experience). Note that access to the 3rd bedroom is through a shared bathroom (or through the carport). Also note that beach access involves a small scramble over a rock wall. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely rent again!

Great place in an incredible location

Loved the spaciousness and privacy. Incredible views of the ocean, San Juan Islands, and the Olympic Peninsula. Well appointed kitchen and lots of extra blankets. Some wear and tear around the property, but easy to overlook it given all the positive aspects and the price. Did not appreciate having to haul my own recycling to a drop-off center given how good Washington State is at recycling. Overall - 5/5 would definitely stay here again!
