'This was the 2nd time that we were in this hotel. I like it isn't a huge hotel, the rooms are nice, clean and comfortable and the hotel is close to the beach, shopping mall. We love to come back!'

'The place is within walking distance to the Fort Derussy beach,restaurants. Like their buffet breakfast but after few days of stay the choices are just the same.Also like the happy hour with free drinks and some snacks in the evening.'

'The White Sands Hotel is one of only two remaining 1960’s Waikiki walk up hotels. I love the charm and the soul of the place. I also love the central courtyard with the tropical garden, the outdoor bar and restaurant, and the pool. I do not like more contemporary high rise hotels (recent construction) that seem sterile and plastic to me. I felt very safe as a solo woman traveler, and you can easily walk to everything that Waikiki has to offer.'
