'Wat een prachtige ervaring! Als je een ervaring wilt in de natuur raad ik deze accommodatie zeker aan! Het uitzicht is prachtig en je ziet hier veel wilde dieren (let op: je zit in de natuur, dus je kan zomaar wilde edieren tegenkomen als je de deur uitstapt, van apen, kikkers, reptielen, insecten, geleedpotigen etc.). 'My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Weir House. Our only regret was that we could only stay one. From the patio of the house, we could hear the rapids of the river and surrounded by verdant forest. Staying here truly was a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. 'This hotel has up side and quite a bit down sides. The big up side is the breathtaking view and the perfect staff (Gadjen). The down sides are both the fact that in order to go to Ella you must take a tuktuk. The owner taking advantage of the hotel isolation from the city and chrges unusually expensive rate for breakfast, whuch we were not informed in advance. 2 family breakfast cost as much as a night's stay in the hotel.'

'The Glass House is possibly the best accommodation and service we have experienced in over 40 years of exploring this wonderful country. The house design and location are breathtaking. The views are spectacular (make sure you are up for dawn). On site Chef Kevin made traditional Sri Lankan meals of exceptional quality.
