'Visiting Edinburgh in the busiest week of the year was no problem. Even a large building pit on the edge of the city at that time gave barely any inconvenience. Of course, many tourists, but the people are friendly and accessible. We visited a few of the many pubs. Tried the fish and chips. Walked the royal mile between the Place of Hollyroodhouse and Edinburgh castle, through the old town and the new town. 'Best Location across from Cathedral st Giles. In the heart of everything. This apartment has everything you need for a sightseeing stay. Can be noisy at night with crowds but if you choose to stay here you should expect it. My only suggestion is to replace the mattress. It feels worn and saggy. Joivy was a great company to work with.
