this property was in the lovely countryside but with a local train station that took you to Crewe and then onto Manchester within an hour. Also a great local pub . The property was comfortable and the Breakfast was amazing and the staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Wall Hill Farm Guest House is a hidden gem that my wife and I loved spending a week at. Firstly, the staff are great, the owner/chef could not be more accommodating and made us feel really welcome and that nothing was too much to ask. The Housekeeper was awesome, she was an absolute delight, she did a great job looking after us and she could not have been a more lovely person. Secondly, the property is great, easy access to plenty of good and convenient parking and everything in easy reach, the property itself is lovely and finished to a very good standard. The location was perfect, quiet but a short drive to everything one might need. Value for money was outstanding, the breakfast choice and quality was fabulous. When my wife and I next travel to the UK, we will start looking for a place to stay here, but I wouldn't be surprised if availability was limited, once you have been here, you will definitely want to come back. Thank you to all at Wall Hill Fram Guest House, you provided a faultless stay for us.

Oriental Room.
Room 5 Oriental. Bad points first! : Quite dark ( 20 Watt main bulb). Incessant buzzing sound from electrical consumer unit (label says inspection due in 2009 - hopefully they just haven't updated the label on the unit). Hairdryer is exceptionally noisy and not very effective. TV needs better instruction to operate ( you'd think one could just switch it on with the remote.). Guest book in the room indicates 2 different breakfast times ( about 2 pages apart). Good Points. Attractive decor. Breakfast very good , room clean ( bit of light dust around bed side lamps). Shower excellent. Bed comfy. Stayed 2 nights. First night, room too hot ( in February) couldn't sleep. Second night, turned underfloor heating off and opened windows...slept well. Owners friendly and cheery. Ample parking. Key operated doors. About a 10 min walk to the nearest pub/restaurant ( down the hill . We preferred the Riverside Inn to Leigh Arms ( strong smell of fish meals).

I would highly recommend this value for money stay
This is a lovely location, we wanted something near the motorway south of Manchester, it was an overnight quick stay for us and we stayed in the Country Room, it has a lovely atmosphere the bathroom is amazingly spacious and we made use of the piping hot bath after standing watching the football all evening. The check in was a key left out, which worked really well with no fuss or bother, as was check out, also. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order and delivered in a lovely dinning room.

Hot water was a problem in morning
I found that in the morning there was not a lot of hot water I ended up having a cold shower but my partner had some hot water. Breakfast was lovely there were a few little mistakes but easily sorted out

Overall a very pleasant stay. Lovely, cosy room - English country room. Toilet is very low. Ok for us, but might be difficult for some. Picture on tv rather dark.. Brightness needs adjusting. Service very friendly but portions of jam and butter on the small side.

What a great place
The room was really nice, extremely clean and there was plenty of room to move about. The shower was a great power shower. Plenty of parking and extremely easy to find with the sign posts. Staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast had plenty of options to choose from and tasted really good
