'Wow, foremost, Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown-South has amazing staff! The rooms are clean and well cared for, but the front desk folks in particular have gone above and beyond in anticipating my needs while I've been in town caring for my father who just started hospice this week. 'Nice hotel. Comfortable bed and good rooms. For this price point I would expect breakfast to be included but instead there are hidden costs like a parking fee and an 'Amenity Fee'. The latter is really hidden and compulsory. For a whopping $20/day one gets things that should be included for free, like a bottle of water and coffee in the room. Also access to the swimming pool and wellness are included but if you're not going to use them the hotel still expects you to pay for it. Very unfair and...
