'Overall. The Block is a good value for the money. Room was spacious enough and, more importantly, was clean and comfortable. This is a minimalistic hotel so don’t expect extras and even has some standards removed. There is a desk area and chair. No other chairs. The window has a nice large shelf which can hold your luggage. There is no closet but they have a rack in the room with hangars. No iron and ironing board. They do have basic toiletries and a hair dryer. My wife and I found the bed...

'Lovely Hotel. Beautiful modern design. Beautiful property nestled in the trees. Easy access to campus. Only negative is the bathroom design. Basically an exposed glass box in the corner for the shower and toilet. No privacy. They need to re-design.'

'Requested an “easy access” room due to mobility issues… room was changed within minutes!!! During stay found iron didn’t work - new one delivered in minutes!!!! What more could I ask for??? Clean and tidy… close to where I needed to be!! Owners/Operators were very friendly and welcoming!!!!'

'We had a wonderful time exploring the property and hearing the history. The staff went above an beyond before even asking. The food was excellent. The spa was relaxing. The best part was that we had something to do at the hotel at all times. While waiting for our next adventure, we were not just stuck waiting in our room. we visited with other guests, played games and relaxed in the many comfort areas in and around the hotel.
