'Heavily overpriced for the quality you get (on food and beverages). Also paying for beach chairs etc. Hotel is nice and we enjoyed the installation but food and beverages were very basic while all charged on premium rates. Also very high fees to rent beach equipment which in my point of view is outrageous. We have much better experiences in Hawaii concerning that so definitively something to improve. No problem to pay a price but you expect something in return which we didn't feel at all. '

'This "hotel" is completely unacceptable, first and foremost because there was no smoke alarm in the room, only the base attached to the wall where the smoke alarm had been. There were some workmen on the property, I spoke to them then waited 2.5 hours, no smoke alarm. There was also a used razor blade on the shower floor and hair all over the place, but that was not a hazard to life like the lack of a smoke alarm in an old wooden hotel undergoing renovation.
