Hotelresorts in North Shore

'Heavily overpriced for the quality you get (on food and beverages). Also paying for beach chairs etc. Hotel is nice and we enjoyed the installation but food and beverages were very basic while all charged on premium rates. Also very high fees to rent beach equipment which in my point of view is outrageous. We have much better experiences in Hawaii concerning that so definitively something to improve. No problem to pay a price but you expect something in return which we didn't feel at all. '

'Overall clean but for luxury, minor details could be attended to. Like chaulk in bathroom(moldy or soap residue), plants look sick in the hallway of the club rooms, could use bug repellent plants, as the gnats and mosquitoes were rampant). Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Amenities were great as well.'

'The Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club was a perfect fit for our family! We spent a week there over Christmas, and it was wonderful. The rooms were exactly as described—large, spacious, with excellent powerful showers, a full kitchen, and laundry facilities. The hotel's restaurants, pools, and lagoon were so much fun! The food was excellent, and there was plenty of entertainment and much more to enjoy.'

'Our room(s) provided most of the amenities of home. The full kitchen helps with not having to eat out for every meal. The pools and private beach are amazing! The pools have features for kids (and adults) of all ages with hidden hot tubs, I don't think we found all of them while we were there! The private beach was never overly crowded during our stay. We would definitely stay here again, no question. The only possible downsides are the resorts distance from "public" shopping and entertainment...
