Wonderful View

The condo was great, it had everything we needed, the view was great, parking a little challenging. Parking spaces should be assigned to each unit, there is no way there are enough parking spaces for two vehicles per unit. The condo inside was very charming and super cleaned. Overall it was great.

Location was great, nice beach, beach access was very simple to get to, unit was newly renovated and clean, simple check out process. Comforters on beds were not clean, there was no dish liquid or dishwasher detergent provided. Had to travel to a separate location to turn in keys and passes,

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was exactly as pictured in the listing. Very clean and had lots of extra towels and blankets if you needed them. It is worth mentioning that the pool pictured off your balcony is not the designated pool for the condo complex in which you are staying. The correct one is across the street. I would definitely return to this cute condo again!

Beach front

The unit is very nice & spacious. A real beachy feel. Unit not clean to my standards! Fans, baseboards dusty, under couch cushions had not been clean in months, fridge had a bad smell, spend 2 hrs cleaning the spills on bottem & around shelfs, & oven was bad as well. We were there for 2 months, realy enjoyed being on the ocean for the first time.

Nice condo, tvs in bedrooms out dated and would shut off and or screen would turn different colors. Sound would not work on the living room tv. Cockroaches crawling on the counter 3 out of 5 days we stayed. Disappointing

Upon arrival, we noticed the balcony was closed and boarded up making it inaccessible. We were not notified of this. Called the host requesting another unit and were told we would receive a call the following morning (Saturday). We did not receive a call. So we called again and were told WE should call again Monday because the office was closed. So we did, were told that we would receive information on this the next day (Tuesday) at check out. Unit was ok. Could tell it had not been deep cleaned in a while. Also, a couple of blankets smelled terrible as if used and not washed. I had to sweep the floors when we arrived as they were sandy, which was fine with me. Receiving terrible customer service is not. These people had no sense of urgency or empathy. Pictures of balcony and balcony description was false advertising. They think they “made up for it” by refunding a crappy 10% for four nights.

Fantastic Locations

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The weather and location were great and we will definitely return to this area. The rental company was easy to work with and check in was just as they described. The unit was not very clean and we could've called the cleaning company to return but we didn't want to waste our vacation on that inconvenience. The dishwasher was also not in working order and had to be checked while we were there. A part was ordered and was going to take a week to arrive so we washed dishes by hand, problem was the unit wasn't stocked very well. We had to go buy dish soap and a sponge in order to wash dishes, including the dirty ones in the dishwasher. The washer and dryer worked well and we used it several times. The pier is closed for repairs and the outside of many of the unit's decks are being rebuilt. It made parking a little tricky due to all the construction equipment and supplies taking up the parking spots.

Oceanfront condo for spring break

Reviewer Comments: After having a different reservation cancelled at the last minute, we were in a rush to reserve something else quickly and came across this property. Very glad we did. The property management company was wonderful to deal with. (Note - you do have to go to their office to collect the keys, parking passes, etc. however it was located on our way in, so we didn't have to go out of the way to obtain.)The condo location itself is great, steps away from the beach and the patio allows you to see the ocean as well. There are some local shops and dining; however to get to N Myrtle or Myrtle itself, expect about a 15-30 min drive.Overall the unit was very nicely kept and clean. We did have to use the sofa bed for a kiddo which was quite a bit dusty, but we just wiped it down and threw a blanket over it. The only "downside" we encountered was with the bathrooms lights, as they would trip while in use. Thankfully each bathroom had a sign that said if the lights didn't work to check the patio GFCI, which did correct the problem - but it was a little cumbersome especially when you are using the lavatories and the lights go out.If you are looking for a great beachfront location away from the hustle and bustle, this condo should be your 1st choice.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We saw the condo we rented on line and Carolina Resorts Realty was the rental agent. We contacted them by email to inquire renting the condo. This being our first time, Pam was very helpful in the process. Everything was done through email, Pam made it so easy to do. We knew it was an older condo and was pleasantly surprised when we got there. The condo was clean and comfortable. The condo is on the market right now, so we told Pam to find us another one for next winter. We are pleased with the service we received with Carolina Resorts Realty and will continue to use them.

Sea Cabin but No Pier

Pros: The unit being only one-flight up from ground level, no issues with parking, and close to the beach. The view of the ocean from the balcony was good for a 1st level condo. The washer-dryer in the unit was a plus. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Appliances were in good shape with plenty of TV's if that is your thing. Cons. Having to go to the rental office to pick up and drop off the key. A lock box or electronic locks would be more convenient for guests. Also the pier is closed with no timeline as far as we could determine for reopening. This is an key differentiator for Sea Cabins that IMO needs to be restored. Would recommend checking with Carolina Resorts Realty before booking if you are expecting to enjoy this amenity. We were not informed until a few days before our stay.
