'There was nobody at the front desk to check us in. After a long day of traveling, we did not need to wait to get to our room. There was no housekeeping service even though we were staying 3 nights unless a special request was made. The tv did not work, and when we called for assistance nobody answered. There was no coffee at breakfast as well as waffle batter. Disappointing for the price we paid to stay there.'

'Enjoyed the roof top but long wait times. I had to 2 free drink tickets but they weren’t given to me at check in so I never used them. My room had all the set up for coffee including a coffee pot but no coffee or creamer. Otherwise enjoyed our stay.'

'The hotel seemed quite new or well very well preserved. Great room with nice city view. Located close to the center with many options on bars, restaurants and shopping. Reception personnel was very friendly. It may get noisy occasionally due to the train rails and close by sport activities.'

'This is a wonderful property and we enjoyed our stay. The only reason we gave it a 3/5 overall, is because they surge priced or the Duke Reunion window and it was quite expensive for what we received (ie. 2 nights for a double occupancy was $500/night and this is not a $500/night style hotel).'

'Terrible service! We chose this hotel bc it was conveniently located across the street from the hospital. The reason we needed to stay was because our father was called in for transplant. My sister and I spent the night at the hospital with our dad bc it was required for us to be there. Our mother and my nephews stayed at said hotel. Giving that we booked online we were charged for parking that was not listed at time of booking. Fortunately the day time receptionist did credit that back. ...

'Breakfast was free but was poor and from provided options most were not available. Was better to go out for breakfast. Had a huge bar, but was closed both days. '

Maar het personeel was niet erg bekwaam met het computersysteem, en een van de avonden moest de bar gerund worden door een jongen alleen, hij had zeker 25 gasten, dat ging niet. Zeker niet omdat de keuken ook duidelijk geen overschot aan personeel had. '

'Our oldest daughter is a student at North Carolina Central University, so we stay here anytime we are visiting Durham from NY. The hotel is in a great location and very safe area. Close to the highway but very quiet. There is a gas station across the street which is convenient. The hotel is very quiet but also family friendly. There is also free parking available The rooms are always very clean and the beds are so comfortable. The staff are wonderful and the breakfast offered is very good....
