'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Retreat beach houses in Perigian Beach. The houses are privately owned and each one is different. We lucked out with a unit with wonderful furniture and everything we needed. The houses themselves are on the older side and I enjoyed the charming 80s style architecture with tongue and groove ceiling, and louvers. 'Lovely, large apartment, clean, kitchen well equipped and views exceptional. Outdoor living large with good Weber bbq. Supply of salt, pepper, oil etc would have been nice. As overseas guests, we could not take what we had bought home so it was all binned at the end of our stay. Also not enough dishwashing or laundry powder was supplied. We were given 2 sachets of each for a stay of 6 nights for 4 guests. '
