'Everything was clean, no issues.
What I missed and was surprised not to have on the door to the room was a security chain or door guard. This especially so since the door to the room leads to the outside of the hotel and not to a hotel hallway. The hotel also uses keys which can be copied rather than the new systems which use codes.

'This is an expensive stay. The motel has no restaurant and you are in an isolated area. The one place to eat closed at 7;00 and is very limited. WiFi did not reach room and they know about it. No tv, no fridge, no microwave, no hair drier. Poor breakfast.'
'The Outdoorsman should be the standard to which all motels are held. Clean, well kept for, courteous staff. Don't kid yourself, long gone are the days of sub $100 motels. You get what you pay for. I enjoyed my stay here.'
