'Our stay at Charlesgate Suites was lovely. The whole building was extremely clean and our room had all the basic necessities. The little espresso machine and pods were a nice surprise. It's about a 4 min walk to the green line station entrance, maybe 10 min to Fenway and 15 min to Newbury St. The street itself is beautiful, very "Boston" with all the multistory brownstones. I do wish there was a closer convenience store where you could get bottled waters and things. This is no fault of...

'Close to local shopping & dining options. Great breakfast. Quiet and clean, comfy bed, lovely spacious sitting room/kitchen area and the bathroom was very modern and well-appointed, very cool seating option in the shower. We especially loved the salt water pool!'

'We enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. I had been warned about the cost of breakfast so I was prepared for that. We found several little places within walking distance to eat and when we did dine at the hotel, it was very good.'

'A true pleasure to stay here. A B & B family run and with soul. Lovely. Great location for walking to Harvard Square and going out! Easy access to metro to Boston. Fine old boarding house used in 19th and early 20th century as residence for Harvard students. Interesting features in the rooms. Nice breakfast and large breakfast rooms. '
