'Olde Angel Inn is in a terrific location in the walkable part of Niagara on the Lake. The problem is that the rooms are over the bar and on Fridays and Saturday nights there is live music downstairs from 9:30 pm until 12:30 am complete with loud percussion and persistent bass. We reserved on Expedia and we're not told about this for-us defect. If you reserve directly at the site they supposedly tell you about this. We lucked out and the band did not show up on Saturday night but Friday night...

'We didn’t know what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised by this wonderful inn. We were warmly welcomed by Gail upon arrival and shown around the property after registering us. Our room, the common areas - lounge and pantry - and the outdoor spaces were very clean and well maintained. Our bed was comfortable and the linen smelled fresh.
