Welcome to our Ohana beach house, a perfect escape for you and your family to enjoy the best that Cornwall has to offer.

WHY BOOK THIS PROPERTY?

1. THE OBVIOUS REASON : UNBEATABLE BEACH LOCATION

Situated in a breathtaking location a stones throw away from the sandy family friendly surf beach of Porth and gorgeous sheltered sandy activities beach at Lusty Glaze. The world famous surfing beach at Fistral is a short 5 minute car ride.

******Our favourite : At low tide you can walk back home along the beautiful sandy beach!!*******

2. TOWN, SHOPPING, FOOD AND NIGHTLIFE

Newquay town centre with its eclectic range of shops, cafés restaurants and nightlife is just 10 minutes walk across the beautiful headland and the Walk from our house along the beautiful headland North to Watergate bay to sample the amazing food at The Beach Hut, one of Cornwalls best beach-side hang outs or spoil yourself at the renowned Watergate Bay Hotel.

3. THE HOUSE ITSELF : SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST

ADDITIONAL BEDS : there are 2 x fold out memory foam, single beds that are stored on the property. We need notification before so we can take them out / prepare bedding. So property can sleep 8

Our lovely house provides reverse accommodation! On the ground level there is an entrance hallway with storage and w.c off. This leads to the spacious open plan lounge diner with wall to wall windows front and rear. There are sea views to the front, and a delightful south facing decking area to the rear, ideal for lazy breakfasts and BBQ. The kitchen is modern and well fitted with all required integrated appliances, granite work tops and is stocked with top of the range kitchen appliances. There is oak flooring throughout on this level and excellent quality furnishings. The dining table comfortably seats 6 and we provide games, DVD's, books for your use. On the ground floor you will find 3 generous bedrooms each with doors leading out to patio garden areas. Bed 1 has a super kingsize bed, fully tiled en suite wet room. Bedroom 2 a double with fully tiled en suite wet room. Bedroom 3 a large twin room with fully tiled en suite wet room. Beyond bedroom 2 is a handy laundry room and store, ideal for drying off wet suits, surf boards etc and is furnished with washing machine and separate tumble dryer. The property provides 1 allocated car parking space but there is guest parking and plenty of parking in the hotel car park too.

Very good, picturesque location. Wonderful side trips available. Minack Theatre, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Eden Project, St Michael’s Mount. Lots of little quaint towns to visit. Recommend the Mermaid Inn& Gwenna’s tea shop. Fascinating beach walks & rugged coastal walks abound. Host was very amenable.

Superb accommodation for family
All the family from grandparents, parents and grandchildren enjoyed the home. Home from home comfortable amenities enabled us to self cater easily. Car parking close to property and shops, beaches within easy reach. An extremely friendly environment with excellent and speedy communication with owner. Highly recommended 10/10 all round.

The most beautiful home with an incredible location, a stones throw away from Lusty Glaze. The living space and bedrooms were wonderfully spacious and the photos don’t do it justice. Just Perfect
We were over the moon when we arrived at Lusty Glaze and it just kept getting better. The house was amazing and so well equipped. It had been deep cleaned before we arrived which was really comforting. The walks from the property were just lovely and made it really easy to find things to keep the whole family entertained. Family get together in Cornwall
We had a wonderful stay in Obana House - location and property perfect. The only down side was that the shared swimming pool had to be paid for if used. This wasn’t a problem as the weather was perfect so didn’t have to entertain young children inside. However it could have cost so much extra if we had needed to use the indoor pool. Maybe the charge for pool should be highlighted in the house details? Overall though would definitely recommend this property for a family holiday - everyone had a wonderful stay and we will certainly book to stay again.

Lage toll, Haus nicht sehr sauber (Backofen, hinter Sofakissen, Grill). Wenige Schritte zum Meer und moderne Einrichtung. Leider wurde uns vergessen den Code mitzuteilen um an den Schlüssel zu kommen. War sehr doof mit 7 Leuten erstmal 2h im kalten zu warten und Angst haben zu müssen, dass man hier einem Betrüger aufgesessen ist. Die Vermieterin meldete sich und entschuldigte sich, das war echt gut, aber die panik, die wir hatten macht es nicht wieder wett. Ich hatte sogar am Vortag die Vermieterin über Expedia kontaktiert...

Beautiful house, great location
Stayed at Ohana House with my netball team for a girls team bonding afternoon and fun night out. The house was gorgeous, the owner was very helpful and communicative and we had everything we needed and more - brilliant location for Newquay but enough out of the way to be nice and quiet at night too! Would highly recommend.

House and location fantastic
The location of the house is in a fantastic place, set on the cliff top overlooking 2 Beaches, (Well actually it's a very short walk to see the beaches, but we were still very close) . The house exceeded our expectations as it was a lot bigger than we had imagined. The lounge, dining room and kitchen are open plan. You go downstairs to access the bedrooms, all of the bedrooms were very clean with en-suite bathrooms. Presentation of the property was all very clean and homely. We felt that the property owners must have lived there in the past as all the comfortable amenities where in the house. Check-in was easy and the property owner told us to relax and enjoy the house, we did.. We would love to stay there again in the future. 10 out of 10.

Outstanding location, awesome amenities and incredible hosts.
After our busy day quad-biking, surfing and a few drinks in Newquay having this amazing property to go home to was a absolute god send. We were over capacity (10 people staying) but the hosts were very understanding and talking with them was a real joy. This place will have everything you might need for a short stay and I can imagine during a longer visit you still find it well equipped for all needs. Thank you to the Martin family!
