This is the perfect spot for an outdoor meal, within earshot of the nearby waterfall. The small sandy beach at Aberfforest is about 200 yards away, and children will enjoy skimming stones, exploring rock pools or building a dam across the stream; the beach is perfect for swimming or kayaking. The Coast Path runs past Aberfforest and there are pleasant walks to Newport beach and Dinas Head. The nearby village shops, pubs and restaurants are under 2 miles away. The bay, which can only be approached by the general public over a long footpath, is almost private and has launching facilities available by prior arrangement. The small, sandy beach is perfect for swimming or kayaking and you may sometimes be joined by a seal. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs past Aberfforest; follow this for fantastic scenic walks to Newport beach and Dinas Head.
