We stayed at this home for 4 weeks in February, 2026. We loved the location, distance and access to the beach and pool and the lovely balcony. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we found 4 washer loads of used towels outside the washer on the floor. Because the kitchen cupboards are so full, there is no room for any purchased food items we bought to cook. After a few days, we noticed mold on exterior walls where they meet the ceiling in the living room and the primary bedroom. The host did come promptly to spray the mold, and took samples to test. He told us he would have the mold treated and cleaned up after we left. The dark color did not change much after the spray.The pool was not usable for 3 weeks of our 4 week stay because the heaters were not working. Even when the weather is cold, we love to swim if the pool is a good temperature. It was very very cold for most of our stay. It was very disappointing.The host did offer us a rebate of about the equivalent of 3 days rent, which we felt was inadequate given the issues we faced. The host was accommodating and responsive in the beginning of our stay, but toward the end of our stay, he stopped responding.
