When you book BayouChateau, you get the entire house to yourself, including the deck and covered parking space for two vehicles (guests can park free at Bouligny Plaza). Our guests love the unique location of our property, tucked away on the bayou and just one block from Main Street. You won`t find anything like it in the area. And with no other guests the share space with, you`ll have complete privacy and a more affordable alternative to a hotel. Multiple night stays offer the best value, but one-night bookings are also welcome. Please note that the cleaning fee is the same regardless of the length of your stay.

We like to meet our guests upon arrival to answer any questions they may have about the area. We`re also available by phone 24/7, and although we do not reside on the property, you can count on us for any assistance you might need.

Location is everything, and BayouChateau has the best spot in town. As the heart of downtown New Iberia, there`s always something happening here, from festivals and events to charming shops, bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. It`s all just a few minutes away on foot, and your guests can park for free at the nearby Bouligny Plaza. Other major attractions are just a short 15-minute drive away, and Uber and taxi services are available.
