'We stayed at the hotel last week. Despite previous reviews, we experienced our stay as very pleasant, both the hotel and the surroundings met our expectations. The hotel is a great base for the Prudential Center and for NYC!'

'Hotel was already know to us and knew hotel is old and not more than 3 Stars but close to the location we needed to be in Newark. We arrived midnight and got an upgrade which was highly appreciated. '

There was also a car next to us parked extremely close and looked like people were sleeping in the car. They had an extension cord running and plugged in somewhere.'

'BEWARE!!! This was terrible. It’s not a hotel by any means. Located in a bad neighborhood, there is no one there to greet you. We stood on a rotting porch for 15 minutes after ringing the ring doorbell only to be told someone would be there in 2 minutes. The smoke alarm dead battery screech coming from inside told me enough. 'The place looks sketchy on the outside and the interior could use some work. Also towels/soap/etc should be somewhat provided or at least try to have a couple just in case to accommodate people that dont have those items readily available. Staff was amazing Ahmed helped me get situated when no one else was answering so I really appreciate him helping me get set up cuz it was kinda confusing getting in the rooms/home.'
