This is an amazing property! Most of our stay was spent in Hermann, which was a short and easy drive, but enjoyed discovering things to see and do in New Haven. The schoolhouse had everything we needed and beautiful views. We will highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

We have family in the area and we were going to attend a family reunion. The Yeates Schoolhouse really was the perfect place to be close and to be able to see our extended family.We were able to do some bird watching and it was so relaxing. We loved the sitting area downstairs and the kitchen was well supplied with essential items. The bedrooms were upstairs and each bedroom had its own bathroom with nice large showers.We ended our stay with a beautiful rainbow on our last evening there. Dave our host was very accommodating and we enjoyed our stay. We will be looking forward to staying at the Yeates Schoolhouse again and would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful remodel

Excellent spot to stay. The refurbishing job is amazing. Wonderful landscape around the property!! We would stay again if we are in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Yeates Schoolhouse. Dave is a fantastic host, and the craftsmanship throughout the remodel is truly outstanding, with every detail thoughtfully and beautifully executed. The attention to detail is remarkable, and the entire place was absolutely spotless. The sprawling views were gorgeous, and the quiet solitude made it the perfect getaway. If you’re visiting Hermann, MO, this is the ideal place to stay — close enough to enjoy the wineries and distilleries, but just right for a calm, soothing retreat afterward.I can't recommend this place enough, you will be so pleased!!Carl and Pamela

We had an excellent time staying at the school house. We went to Hermann and explored wineries around New Haven. The views and serenity here is amazing.

The school house was adorable! Shower was amazing, outdoor space was breathtakingly beautiful! It was the perfect place to relax after a day in Hermann with all the tourists. The Host was extremely helpful with wonderful recommendations for shopping, restaurants and activities.

From the check-in to checkout this place was perfect. The accommodations we couldn’t have asked for more the solitude we had on Friday night looking at the stars on the back patio was awesome. It was far enough away from Herman Missouri we didn’t hear a bunch of people or traffic. We will be back. The host was very responsive.

The school house exceeded our expectations in the following areas: presentation ,cleanliness and location. The decor was exceptional and they even did holiday decorating (pumpkins and corn stalks). The host was great to work with and made it a great experience. It is located in an area with several wineries. There is plenty to do or stay at the place and enjoy the view! I hope to come back and enjoy with friends!

The Yeates Schoolhouse is nothing short of exquisite! The craftsmanship of the school restoration, performed by the owner and his family, is a breathtaking example of fine detail, repurposing every possible piece of lumbar, and a color palate that is soothing and comforting. Everything you need is in the house, and the owner is helpful and inviting. Hermann and Washington Missouri are close by, with over 30 wineries and distilleries in the area to visit. The schoolhouse has ample parking as opposed to some of the guest houses in Hermann which would not have accommodated our large trucks, trailers and motorcycles. Treat yourself to the experience of Yeates Schoolhouse and Missouri Wine country!

A wonderful relaxing 2.5 days

Our stay in the beautiful schoolhouse in New Haven, MO was totally worth it! So wonderfully built and accommodated and the property was pristine to pull up to. It was like you entered a magazine spread being photographed for the world to see. Truly impeccable. The lights, the flooring, the counters, the stairs, the ceilings, truly someone knew what they were doing. The two master bedrooms with king size beds and private bathrooms within were a delight. Then the two shower heads and pressure in the shower were awesome. The scenery outside, watching the farmers bale hay the days we were there was fun. The sunrise Monday morning was exquisite. Sunday morning watching a skunk play in the grass in the field, listening to the woodpecker while the turkeys gobbled in the nearby woods, well that was coffee time at the back patio table perfect. The property was completely comfy and delightful for our three some of ladies, just kicking back. We would stay again, and we will tell everyone about it! We took in New Haven, Washington, and Hermann, MO while staying at this house. Easy and nearby, really pretty area of Missouri.
