'The place was perfect for a two day trip. It was clean and had a great view of the little lake and fall colors. We were able to cook breakfast on the electric griddle provided, however, we were not able to grill the steaks we had planned because of no way to clean the grill. No problem, though, we just had an authentic German meal out instead.'

'The property was nice and really clean, you can tell there was much attention put into every detail. The hosts were very communicative from the start and they were responsive to our questions. The area is really quiet, and outside from the Pinckney Bend Distillery there are not many activities you can do in the area. It does serve well as a place where you can easily go to Hermann or Washington (about 20 mins driving distance).'

'Wine Alley West was a convenient and clean place. It's close to the Amtrak station, wineries, shopping, and eating. The owners provide many amenities with needed kitchen accessories including silverware, bowls and dishes. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels were provided for showers. Layout of kitchen and living space was pleasant. Plenty of outlets for charging cords.'

'The place is pretty but the electricity situation was ridiculous. 2 days of cold showers because circuit breaker kept tripping. We had to turn off lights and air so the circuit would stay on. The maintenance guy was very kind and polite. He did all he could do at the moment to remedy the problem to no avail. Smelled very moldy. Food was good downstairs, great staff at the restaurant. The people and location are nice. The electricity problems caused a lot of inconvenience, cold showers sucked.'

'Gorgeous working farm; friendly, responsive on-site owners; best guard dog of all time (Dakota!); top-notch fishing in the pond (bass & HUGE bluegill!); convenient to Hermann (10-15 mins) and all the shops, wineries and distilleries! The room is small/quaint but has what you need: bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and shared deck overlooking the scenic pond/lake. It was clean and comfortable. This is a place we will visit again, no doubt!'

'Stayed fo 2 nightts with my cousin while we attended a Bachelorette party in Herman. Everything was amazing from communicating with the owner to the unit itself. Will stay again.'
