Aparthotels in National Forest

'Nice place but unfortunately if you book a 2 bedroom apartment it could be allocated either inside the country house or a cabin overlooking countryside so we felt it was misleading in what we thought we had booked. It would have been better for the venue to advertise the apartments exactly as they were located as it affects the feel of a countryside stay.'

'Good : Easy to find, great comms, generally very clean indeed, quality of bathroom (great shower) and general decor far exceeded my expectation. Bad : False fire alarm at 4.30am, used underwear and socks from.previous guest in a drawer.'

'The room was spacious, and provides was a complimentary breakfast and beverages to drink. The ensuite is a nice large size. Car parking can be a bit of a squeeze if there are guests with cars staying in all of the flats. There was good friendly communication with the owner most of the time. The WiFi was working, but for some reason not the smart TV. Maybe a previous guest messed it up. The house is on a good bus route, with a stop across the road and regular buses into Derby city...

'I booked hotel on the same day of the stay. It turns out a form must be filled in and completed prior to being allowed in just the hotel reception. Upon finding this detail out as I arrived at the hotel, it was quite the disappointing experience that cannot be matched by having an on site host. Once the information was submitted, followed by a secondary transaction of a significant sum in the reception to act as damage waiver, we were finally granted access to our room. 'Verblijf van vier nachten hebben we er twee gehad met veel geluidsoverlast in het hotel zelf. Hebben niets het idee dat hier goed op gereageerd werd door personeel. ( idee is dat het Engelse waren) Bij vertrek werd ons niet gevraagd of we een aangenaam verblijf hadden gehad. Vonden we toch wat minder gastvrij. '
