'The location of the River Inn is excellent. It is in a nice neighborhood, with like a 20-30 mins walk to the DC Mall. There are multiple restaurants and super markets relatively close. The hotel itself also contains an Italian restaurant that was fine, the breakfast is also there. The staff of the hotel is helpful and the rooms are clean and big. The room contains a lot of extra facilities such as cooking facilities. We had a great stay. '

'The good part was that it was close to the national mall because we were visiting for July 4th. It was extremely hot during our stay and the fridge in our room didn’t work. When we asked for it to be replaced they said they couldn’t do anything. We asked where the Ice machine was located and they said the hotel guests have to come down with their ice bucket to the front desk if they want ice and they would fill it for us. 'We ABSOLUTELY loved this boutique hotel!!! If I could give it 10 stars I would! Absolutely stunning decor in the common areas, the speakeasy, the restaurant, the rooms. All fabulous. The truffle popcorn in the bar is a winner and we watched the fireworks over DC from the rooftop bar. So much fun. Great energy. The service of everyone in the hotel and restaurant/bar was top notch!!!'
