Scarborough state beach is a 2 minute walk across the street to this 3 bed, 2 full-bath home with direct ocean views throughout, including from upper and lower decks. Our home is the quintessential New England beach house, with original grey shingles outside and lots of charm inside while being completely updated including brand new kitchen and lower bath.

See, smell, and hear the ocean from the spacious sun room which flows into the living room through french doors. Enjoy dinner on the lower deck right outside the kitchen before heading up to the adirondack chairs on the upper deck - directly off the master suite - for even better views as the sun sets.

We're just minutes to Rhode Island favorites Aunt Carries, Iggy's, George's, Spain, Coast Guard house and more. Plus the Block Island Ferry is around the corner and Newport is just 30 minutes away

All the creature comforts are here too, from wall-mounted SMART TV's in the living room and all bedrooms with YouTube TV (includes on demand and live TV with ESPN so you don't miss the games), plus a keurig for your morning coffee and washer/dryer to throw your swim suit in after the beach. A rolling beach cart, chairs and umbrella are included so you can pack a little less and enjoy yourselves just a little more!

So close to the beach! Porches upstairs and down with comfy seating were delightful. What a cozy house and peaceful neighborhood. Excellent set up for people who might want to nap, or gather, or walk over to Scarborough Beach. Close to Galilee’s fish Market, Sunset Farm stand, grocery store. The owners were very responsive to questions. We will return!

Comfortable and fun stay near the beach

Wonderful location, great host, cute and comfortable house. Love the decks, love the location across from the beach. Only limitation is smaller beds than we are used to but great 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Host was generous, left us smores kit and pretty insulated bag to keep.

Perfect Stay Rain or Shine!

Cozy, welcoming beach retreat. Fantastic location across from Scarborough and easy access to Newport, Westerly, Wickford, etc. cottage offered many sitting areas to enjoy - including a deck with fire pit as well as water views. A sun room that beckons you to linger and enjoy! We plan on booking again next year!

Highly recommend!

The cottage was just perfect for our family of 4. Scarborough beach was a quick walk away. The neighborhood was quiet. The hosts thought of everything. Toiletries were supplied, there was a lovely gift basket with treats and everything we needed for the beach was there - multiple chairs, a wagon, toys. The hosts were quick to respond with any concerns or questions. Looking forward to another visit!

Great Spot

This is a wonderful home for a family vacation. Great location right by the beach with nice views. The hosts are very thoughtful and helpful providing most.of what you need for a comfortable stay. We would definitely come back again!

Beach house in great location

We felt right at home as soon as we walked into this wonderful beach house. It was even better than we expected…so clean, perfectly decorated, and so well stocked with all that you need for a stay near the beach. The bedrooms are so cute with very comfortable beds and cozy sheets and quilts. We have been renting in RI for the past 6 summers and this is now our favorite! Dave was incredibly responsive and informative. We loved everything about this home and experience and are hoping to book it again next year!

The absolute best!

This is the second year our family has stayed at this beautiful property, and wouldn’t look anywhere else! Dave and Michelle are wonderful hosts and think of everything, the home is spotless and is perfectly decorated for a beach getaway. The location is great, ideal for packing up the kids and heading across the street to the beach, and a short drive to amazing restaurants. I usually don’t leave reviews, but this property is most deserving! Looking forward to making many more family memories here in the future.

Perfect home for a family vacation!

This home is so cute, and perfect for a family getaway. The hosts, Dave and Michelle, did a beautiful job on their renovations (be sure to look through the welcome book for before and after pictures), and provide all of the amenities (and a few extra special touches) to make your stay comfortable and fun! The upper deck was perfect for cocktails or just getting some sun, and the lower deck was great for meals around the table. And, what an ideal location! The beach is just a quick walk across the street. The Block Island ferry dock is less than a 10 minute drive, and there are so many great restaurants in the area! The neighborhood is relatively quiet (we enjoyed watching the antics of all the bunnies in the area), and everyone who walked by waved and said “hello!” Dave was super communicative and helpful before our visit and answered all of my pre-visit questions. We had no problems during our stay, but if we had, I’m confident that Dave would have been right on top of it. I highly recommend this property for your next RI vacation! A++ property and hosts!

Great location and property

The description of this property and location is spot on. You can see the beautiful water from the house and it's a short walk across the street to the beach. The house has the classic beach cottage feel equipped with all of the modern conveniences of a home. The beach caddy, chairs, umbrella, and towels were bonuses that we really appreciated! Dave was very responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Perfect location!

This home has everything needed for a stress free vacation! The location is perfect - virtually across the street from the beach. My family of 2 adults and 3 kids enjoyed the living space, indoor and out. The home is very clean, and well stocked with all the supplies needed, including a beach cart and beach towels to make walking to the beach a breeze. We loved the fire pit & lawn games as well. Thanks to the homeowner Dave for being easy to rent from and very timely in responses. We would definitely love to return.

Great location!! Walk across the street to beach! Really convenient for a family who wants to come and go at different times. Also great not to have to pack beach chairs. The upstairs deck was great for morning coffee and evening fire pit!

paradise in point judith

our family--wife and I, daughter and son in law and their three and one year old girls-- just spent the last week in July at Dave and Michelle's beachhouse in Point Judith. The house was immaculate, stocked with every convenience you could imagine and legitimately a five minute walk from a public beach which was perfect for our little ones. An outside shower, gas firepit on the second floor deck and screened porch added to our enjoyment.Local seafood restaurants are within a five mile drive.Everything about our stay at their house was absolutely perfect! tom and carla
