Giorì House

Casa Giorì is a typical Salento home, tastefully renovated in a modern style while preserving its original character, with its characteristic star-vaulted ceilings, arches, and ancient well, artfully illuminated. It is spread over two levels, between which a very spacious and comfortable loft has been created. The layout is classic, with a kitchen, living room, and bathroom on the first floor, and a bedroom with a second bathroom on the first floor. The loft can be used as an additional bedroom if needed. The entire house has been furnished with meticulous attention to detail and good taste by the owners, who appreciate its versatility.
It is located right in the heart of Nardò’s historic center, just a short walk from the picturesque Piazza Salandra with its imposing Guglia dell’Immacolata, the Cathedral, and the Aragonese Castle of the Acquaviva family with the adjoining Villa Comunale—home to rare botanical specimens and many other architectural wonders.
The name “Giorì” comes from the combination of the words “Gioia” (joy) and “Ridere” (to laugh), with the hope that you will “laugh and rejoice” throughout your stay in our home.
