'Don't stay at this hotel if you only plan to stay overnight and can't arrive early to check-in and leave early the next morning like what we did. Despite our rather short stay, we were able to celebrate my dad's birthday in a memorable way. We even got a complimentary cake! My parents loved their room and so did my brother and cousin. 'Spacious and comfortable room, very clean. Staff so welcoming and kind. Buffet breakfast was great, some items rotate every other day so it’s not exactly the same. Pools were beautiful, we came during the windy season so we swam in the 4th floor infinity pool. Casino was fun and hotel is located conveniently across from Ocean Park and SM Seaside. We travelled with one 5 year old so we ordered taxis to get around easily. Will be returning,'

'I had a lovely stay in The Reef - what a beautiful place! Very nice rooms, fine breakfast, very warm and friendly staff, and very easy access to great snorkeling. One point of attention - when the staff orders a taxi, they automatically order a luxury taxi which is double as expensive as a white taxi. As you need to pay taxis with cash, this can lead to a negative surprise when you are low on cash (for me, on my trip to the airport going back)'
