Perfect spot

My family and extended family just departed from 7 days spent in this home and we couldn’t be happier. The location to beach access is as good as it gets. It was convenient to the grocery store across the street and the property has been well maintained. The only recommendation I would have for ownership would be to invest in a new grill. And to be fair we only grilled out 2 days so it wouldn’t be a deterrent for us regardless. Management company reached out about possible cable issue but we only turned on one tv the entire time, so whatever issue that may have been was a non issue for us. Pool was cleaned while we were there which was good as we likely brought some sand back with us. Great place and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a group of 10+

I traveled with my three kids 3,2, and 5 month old. They enjoyed everything about this vacation. We were very close to the beach and the pool was great for nighttime. The only suggestion i would have is maybe a baby gate for the top level of stairs.

GREAT HOUSE!

We were a group of 7 (family members - all adults, except 1 teen. House was plenty large enough where everyone had their own space. Beautiful. We were a very short walk to the beach away (2 minutes). Supermarket was very close. Would rent this house again.

Great location!

Overall, our stay was great. The location is incredible - just a quick walk to the beach and across the street from retail and grocery stores. I'm docking one-star for the "water bugs" that infested the 2nd floor (interestingly & thankfully, there were none spotted in the upstairs kitchen) with approx 5-7 sightings per day in the bedrooms & shared hallway bathroom. The size of the home was perfect for our two families and while the pool was on the smaller side, the beach was just a quick walk away.

Beautiful location and house, but terrible cleanliness

This how was beautifully located, easy access to the beach, and overall a great layout as far as the rooms and bathrooms and kitchen and family room go. Our family enjoyed our stay as we made the best out of a very bad situation. from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we fought quite a few issues with the home. When we arrived the house was not clean , wasn’t vacuumed , wasn’t wiped down, beds were slept in, bathroom sink not working , toilet still clogged, lots of sand and dirt at different places, and trash left under beds like an empty alcohol bottle. We then ran into an even worse issue as we started finding cockroaches in every room. Ants kept finding their way to the countertops into food, and these issues lasted all week. The property management wasn’t really willing to help with this or give any type of refund or these issues so that was disheartening. But the location did help a lot to overshadow some of these problems. Our family hadn’t been on vacation in a few years so we really just pushed through it and made a great time out of bad situations. Wonderful food nearby, located near good beaches and easy walk across the street to get there. This house could be one of the top houses to stay in at the OBX if they were able to fix a lot of issues, do some touch up to the house and maybe improve their cleaning services.
