'Our first stay at one of your properties. There seemed to be a few things missing…a clock in the room, shower gel, and make up remover wipes. These are regularly included in other hotels where we’ve stayed. The breakfast was very good and Warren, the breakfast attendant, was very helpful and kept items well stocked and extremely clean. He makes a very good waffle too. Our room was very comfortable and the staff pleasant and helpful.'

'Never saw any staff at all during 4 day stay. My friend arrived early and got both separate room keys. I was able to walk right into the room area without seeing anyone. Exterior doors were open and unable to be secured. Anybody could walk in. Room was clean but old and worn. No desk chair, no handles on closet, just nails. No microwave. TVvremote needed. new batteries. Room smelled of smoke, I had to buy air freshener. Room not cleaned in 4 days. Expected at least once. breakfast was...

'Goed centraal gelegen vlak bij Dayton Mall met alle winkels en eet gelegenheden. Kwartier rijden naar Dayton centrum. Ideale uitvalsbasis. Kamer redelijk netjes. Keuken oud maar werkt wel. Grote koelkast met vriesvak. Prima basis uitrusting voor een weekje. Airco aanwezig en werkt ook. Ontbijtbuffetje in hotel stelt niets voor. Koffie prima maar de rest is niets (wij haalden ontbijt gewoon bij de supermarkt en of restaurants). Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is goed. Geen luxe maar gewoon goede...

'While the hotel is recently renovated, it still isn’t great. Many of the doors had lock issues - we spoke with several people who experienced key & lock issues during their stay. We experienced it 3 times. The pool is still under renovations, which was disappointing for the kids. But, when I looked back, I didn’t see the pool advertised which made me feel a little better. We stayed here because our whole team stayed - not because we picked it. The front door design is not friendly with luggage...

'Great stay. I have never experienced such hospitality by all staff at a hotel in the US before. Everyone working there genuinely seemed happy and enjoyed their job. This by far exceeded my expectations. Hotel was clean and well maintained and would definitely stay here again.'

'Would have rated this higher except that there were a couple of times that I smelled cigarette smoke near the entrance due to workers smoking right outside the front door (one time I saw the worker, the other time it seemed that way but I didn't see it, just could smell it by the breakfast area). Would suggest not allowing workers to smoke that close to the entrance. I am a big fan of Holiday Inn Express & Suites and probably the main reason is due to how smoke-free they keep their hotels.'

'I wasn't expecting something fancy for the price I paid but these premises need a lot of maintenance, I would have slept there if there was no humidity but the smell of it was unbearable even tho we swapped room 3 times .. I think this was my only time here .'

'This is the 3rd time we have used this hotel only due to its closeness to our location and price. They require a $100 deposit they dont tell you about until you check in. The first time our room was dirty, floors, sink and tub. 2nd time we had rather large roaches in the room. We were assured the previous issues had been rectified so gave them another chance.
