'It was an absolute delight and pleasure to have stayed in this amazing hotel. Great location, amazing staff and excellent maintained rooms. I was very pleased with the airco system, the room equipment, breakfast, and daily amenities. I was pleasantly surprised by the hospitailty, kindness and helpfull frontdesk staff. I felt more than welcome, at home and will for sure stay again. Thanks so much for the great service!'

'Only 5 units in this beautifully renovated palazzo. Great location. Very clean, good size rooms. First floor has a beautiful common area living room. Breakfast area on the second floor serves a good spread every morning. The palazzo was better than " four star" hotels we have stayed in during our trip around Italy this year. Staff on site only part of the day but no issues with access. Barbara sends all required info by email well in advance. We loved Bergamo and our stay in Porta Picta!'

'The hosts were friendly, helpful, kind. If you want to visit Bergamo this is the place to stay. Near to the city center and citta alta. If we are going back to Bergamo, we would certainly book here again>'

Het Relais is prachtig verbouwd met veel aandacht voor details. Mooie groenvoorziening. De medewerkers zijn zeer vriendelijk. Het restaurant is uitstekend. Ontbijt zeer uitgebreid. '

'Absolutely fantastic apartment in a Beautiful location, the rooms were cleaned daily to a very high standard, the staff were extremely helpful and always smiling! A great selection at breakfast especially the freshly made scrambled eggs. We popped down to the restaurant on a couple of evenings and the food was lovely. Nothing at all negative to say!'

'Very out dated place. Carpet in breakfast area is unacceptable dirty. The whole place needs a decent renovation.'

'We spent about two weeks travelling through Northern Italy and this place was the best stay of the whole trip. The room itself was spacious, the bed was really comfortable, the bathroom/shower was really nice and the location was perfect (be prepared for the crazy loud church bells at 7:30 AM every morning though, but you will hear those everywhere you stay in the old town). However, one cannot review this place without giving a special mention to the owner. Kind and extremely helpful, he will...
