Prachtig hotel, goede service
The Chedi is een heel mooi hotel maar prachtige voorzieningen. Qua prijs zit het hoog in de markt, echter met alle voorzieningen die gratis aangeboden worden (meedere zwembaden, health club, tennisbaan, dagelijkse gratis bijvulling van gebruikte frisdranken in de minibar, extra service in de avond indien er nog iets in de kamer aangevuld moet worden) waar voor je geld. Goede restaurants on site aanwezig met hoog kwaliteit voedsel, echter wel stevig aan de prijs. Een taxirit naar een restaurant buiten het hotel loont zeker.

Geweldig hotel.
Prachtig hotel met veel buitenruimte. Hier kom je voor rust en privacy, niet voor een familievakantie aan zee. Uitstekende restaurants, superattent personeel. Je voelt je enorm welkom en iedereen doet z'n uiterste best om je een geslaagd verblijf te bezorgen.

5 sterren look maar geen 5 sterren waard
Dit hotel is zeer teleeurstellend in vergelijking met andere 5-sterrenhotels waar we ooit hebben verbleven. Ja het ziet er mooi uit en het personeel is supervriendelijk, beleefd en behulpzaam maar daar houdt de 5-sterren experience op. Grootste teleurstellingen: 1). Kindonvriendelijk!!!! Hoewel geadverteerd wordt dat dit een kindvriendelijk hotel is is dat absoluut niet zo. Bij binnenkomst wordt je namelijk meteen de child-policy in de hand gerdukt waardoor je niet meer op de mooiste plekken van het hotel kunt zwemmen of eten (bijvoorbeeld restaurant op het strand) 2). Het eten is niet wat je van een 5-sterrenhotel mag verwachten. Smakeloos en bovendien geen variatie wat betreft menu 3). Belachelijk duur! Natuurlijk is een 5-sterrenhote iets duurder maar om 100 euro voor drie broodjes en drie dankjes af te moeten tikken is wel erg overdreven. Het werd niet op gouden dienbladen geserveerd of zo. We raden iedereen aan om excursies buiten het hotel te boeken, scheelt soms wel 2/3 van de prijs! 4). Het is een saai hotel (geen entertainment oid)

Wij zijn eind mei een nachtje in dit hotel geweest. Een erg relaxed verblijf. het is een hip, superdesign hotel, waar het heerlijk bijkomen is. Aangezien het geen groot kolossaal gebouw is, is de sfeer ook veel ontspannener dan is elk ander hotel. alles is erg luxe, de 2 zwembaden, de service etc. Twee keer per dag nieuwe handdoeken, als je aan het zwembad ligt een koud handdoekje, glaasje water, nieuwe handdoek als nodig, echt alles wat je van een 5 sterren hotel kan verwachten. Ook het buffet ontbijt was heerlijk! Het enige nadeel is, dat de restaurantprijzen vrij hoog liggen en dat er geen andere restaurantjes in de buurt zijn waar je even gezellig heen kunt lopen. The Chedi ligt nl wel iets buiten het centrum en Al Qurm, waar de meeste restaurantjes zijn. Maar, daarvoor kun je altijd een taxi nemen. Samengevat was het een topverblijf!

We had a lovely stay at the Chedi in Muscat in early April and found it a very relaxing place to stay with family including teenagers. The staff were very friendly and courteous. One suggestion is to improve the atmosphere by arranging some activities and themed nights to engage the guests.

This is a very special hotel where you feel looked after to the highest level. The staff are superb and the pools and gardens stunning. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the club facilities. We ate in all the restaurants in the hotel and all were exceptional. Some areas of the bedrooms felt a little tired and the beach was not the most picturesque but this would be the only negative I could find and would not warrant awarding less than 5*

Still the best hotel I have stayed in, one year on from writing the same after a previous stay. Great facilities, peaceful, fantastic dining options, but what makes the Chedi special is the staff. They really do care and it’s not about being paid to care. It is not family run, but it might as well be. Everyone from the gardeners to the management actually does want to look after you and make your stay special.

Wir hatten ein erstklassiges Zimmer mit Blick auf die Parklandschaft und dem dahinter liegenden Meer. Alle Mitarbeitenden des Chedi waren super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Das umfangreiche Frühstücksbuffet liess keine Wünsche offen. Mit drei wirklich ausgezeichneten Pools und dem Strand kann man seine Seele wunderbar baumeln lassen.

A magical stay in Muscat
A simply wonderful stay at The Chedi, the property is beautiful and the staff are just superb, they cannot do enough for you. The rooms are spacious and luxurious and I would highly recommend the club rooms as the additional extras included are well worth it - limo airport transfers, daily afternoon tea followed by cocktails and canapés plus laundry! The food in the restaurant is of highly quality. Overall, cannot recommend The Chedi Muscat enough!

Your own palace in Muscat
Paradise in Middle East. Just a amazing hotel with fantastic pools and location on the beach. Like walking in a royal palace. Staff is super friendly. Recommend room with club lounge or suite as it gives you a lot included. Bring your own wine as it is very expensive in Oman. Would encourage the hotel to have staff clean the private beach each morning for plastic waste.

From the first moment of our arrival we received an excellent service. All the staff was extremely attentive and nice. Especially Husam made us feel very welcome and gave us some insights into the country and the Omani culture. Also Milet and Marvel from the restaurant excelled with their friendliness. Even by the pool we were provided with lots of icy water, our glasses were constantly refilled. We really enjoyed our stay at The Chedi as all our expectations were exceeded. Unsurpassable hospitality!
