The Old Factory Getaway: Experience Life on the Little Missouri River

The Old Factory Getaway is a private riverfront retreat nestled in the scenic hills of Southwestern Arkansas along the banks of the Little Missouri River.ย  It Sleeps 8 people with two full baths.ย  Great Trout Fishing.ย  The cabin is located a few miles from historic Murfreesboro, Arkansas, Crater of Diamonds State Park and Lake Greeson. The 'Old Factory Site' refers to a water driven mill that was located just upstream from the cabin in the mid 1800's.

Very clean and comfortable cabin. Conveniently located. Had everything we needed including mining equipment. Loved seeing all the deer every day. We didnโ€™t realize the entrance for upstairs was outside, but it was fine with our older kids. We did like there was a โ€œtrap doorโ€, so we could conveniently communicate between upstairs and downstairs.

This was the perfect little cabin for my family. My adult kids and my 9yo loved our stay. The cabin, the outside space, the porches, and amazing views are 5 star! We enjoyed deer every morning, and just being there is so much fun.

The cabin has a new paint color from the picture in the listing so we were a bit confused for a minute. Adorable cabin and we loved the gated wrap around porch for the dogs. The access to the second bedroom was from the outside only and I was a bit concerned about my young boys but luckily they stayed put. Otherwise it was a wonderful, comfortable place to stay.

Sweet getaway

Enjoyed our quick getaway. Quiet and secluded. Comfortable. The only thing that would make this a 10, is better access to the river and a sitting area near the water. Otherwise overall very nice.

Our stay at the cabin in Arkansas was everything we hoped for and more. Nestled right on the river, the location was absolutely perfect.. peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the porch while watching the water, and our evenings playing family games. Only thing weโ€™d change was a longer stay!

The cabin was perfect for the two of us, although it has another bedroom with two beds upstairs with a half bath, which has it's own access outside on the side of the cabin via the stairs. We really loved sitting out on the back porch. Very peaceful, clean, and comfortabke.

The second bed room is outside up the stiars no convenient when its pouring rain all day. No water pressure in the shower. And if you have ATT you will have no cell service. The tv is in the kitchen so you can not watch it from the living room.

Great vacation getaway

Cozy cabin right on the river with lots of amenities. Some of our most enjoyable moments were sitting on the back porch swing watching and listening to the river(in march so the river was full of fast moving water and the neighbors where doing some fly fishing), sitting on the front porch rocking chairs, using the mining tools at the Crator of Diamonds state park where we also hiked some trails, and just slowing down and unwinding. On the last day we went to the Riverside picnic area at the Narrows dam just a few min drive and enjoyed the playground and fishing that it had to offer. Some things to note, the stairs to the second floor are outside but not a hassle, and we brought our own charcoal for the grill. We brought our own food because there is not many options in the small town near by. Overall we really enjoyed it, the host was accommodating, and we would recommend this place to stay.

Loved this cabin

This is the cutest cabin. We loved sitting on the porch overlooking the river. It was quiet and peaceful. We saw deer. It wasn't far from town either.
