'We loved, loved, loved Kaivalayam! The room, the staff, the views, the vibe, the yoga, the treatments. It's a wonderful place to just retreat from the busy wonderful chaos that is India. We were really able to relax here the last couple of days of our trip. The in-house Ayurvedic doctor and team do a great job in providing wonderful treatments and also the kitchen staff cooks up the most delicious and nourishing dishes! Highly recommended for when in Munnar.'

'We stayed here as a stop-off between driving. As described, it is a quiet place to relax away from the constant beeping from tuk tuks, cars and bikes. Activities are available - we took the option to kayak. The food, whilst good, needed to be warmer. Every meal was tepid in temperature. As it was out-of-season, there was only us and one other pair here. I can imagine this being a good place when more people are around. The "rooms" can be best described as glamping - big "tent" with A/C...

'It was an excellent hotel located in the outskirts of Munnar. The staff were accommodating and welcoming. The restaurant was excellent. We had many choices for the complementary breakfast. Dinner and lunch options were reasonably priced. Good complementary activities were available. Next time I will definitely go for a longer stay.'

'A fabulous mountain retreat set between forests and tea gardens. Beautifully maintained lawns with great vistas. Loved our stay. However due to road washouts from 2018 floods, almost impossible to get to. A miracle we found our way. But well worth the journey!'
