Superb Rural Gite with Private Heated Pool

Sleeps up to 6 people (or 7 as a cot/day bed can be made available) offers a total floor space of 110 sq.m. It is situated approximately 2km from Mouilleron En Pareds which has a bakers, chemist,supermarket,banks,restaurants and a bar. The property has been awarded 3 keys by CléVacances for its level of comfort and facilities which includes a large kitchen/dining room, spacious living room with exposed beams, large master bedroom with an en suite shower room, 2 further bedrooms, separate bathroom with washbasin and a separate toilet.Outside there is a private entrance,parking and garden. The swimming pool, sun terrace and sun loungers are for the exclusive use of the gite guests, while a second shaded patio area provides outside dining with table and chairs plus a gas barbecue.There is also a games room with mini snooker, table tennis and darts board. We are affiliated with the local and regional tourist offices,listed with our mayor and are a registered & insured French business.

Fijne gite in rustige omgeving

Fijne, complete gite met een net zwembad en een heerlijke grote tuin. Prachtige omgeving als je van rust houdt en voldoende bezienswaardigheden en activiteiten om te ondernemen in de omgeving. Leuke steden en strand op een uur rijden. Zeer vriendelijke gastheer die ons verse eieren en een potje eigen honing mee naar huis gaf. De moeite waard.

Great gite, great garden, great pool, great hosts

This was the best what could happen to us this summer. Roland’s gite is a haven of tranquility in the beautiful Vendee. The house was a real home to us. Also thanks to Roland, the owner, who provides us with the fresh eggs, wine, milk, juice, honey and lots of information about the Vendee. The house was nice and clean. The heated (!) pool was comfortable also on rainy days. The garden was great for relaxing with plenty of sun and shade, but also for playing football, badminton etc. The gite is close to Mouileron, walkable in about 30 min. The boulangerie serves great pain and croissants by very friendly people. The gite is close to the major things-to-do, Puy de Fou, the Marais de Poitevin and the Abbey of Maizaille. We had the best time!

Super rustige en toch centrale ligging zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar

Prima ontvangst, verrassend groot huis in feite een totaal verbouwde stal naast de eigenaars woning. Veel privacy! 3 prima slaapkamers waarvan 2 met 2 bedden en een grote master bedroom. Mooi uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer op de 1e verdieping, op bgg grote leefkeuken. Netjes!!

Absolutely fabulous stay with Roland and Bex hosting. Gorgeous peaceful location, a 25 minute walk or short drive to get baguettes or groceries, what a perfect fortnight. The pool was so refreshing in the heat, and Bex and Roland did everything to make our stay relaxing and comfortable, including booking us a restaurant one night. Wonderful days out to Vouvant and the Donjon tower nearby, as well as the windmill walk. The table under the walnut tree was cool and ideal for meals and games. Just a perfect break. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a great time. Myself, wife and 3 boys. (7,10,13)Lovely quiet location, nice gardens in the gite and fantastic pool. Bonus of a games room with table tennis and table football.The gite had everything we needed well stocked kitchen for cookin, 2 bathrooms etc. Property owner was really nice, good to chat to and has plenty of tips on what to do in the area.Highly recommend for families

Tranquil holiday

This is the perfect place to chill out. Sitting in the garden or by the side of the pool enjoying the peace and quiet was so relaxing. The welcome we received from Roland and Bex was great , especially after a long journey.The property was perfect for our dog as well as the garden is nice and secure. Our only gripe was that we couldn't stay longer but we had to go home and back to work !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte très confortable et très bien aménagé ! Accueil chaleureux et sympathique des propriétaires. Nous reviendrons pour profiter des environs et de la piscine car nous ne sommes pas restés assez longtemps (visite au Puy du Fou). Je recommande vivement ce gîte.

Wonderful Gite

We had a wonderful stay at Le Gite Bernerie. It was exactly as described… a beautiful setting to relax and enjoy family time. There is so much space in the garden to enjoy badminton and other garden games, the pool was perfect and the games room was great for when it got too hot in the sun. There is so much space inside the gite too. The setting is so quiet and relaxing… perfect place for a break away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Great break

We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Gite. Superb pool which our boys loved, the games room is great too. The place is perfectly position for great walks with our dog and loads of cycle rides with the boys - cycle to the water towers, the windmills and further afield all on really safe country lanes with next to no traffic The Gite also has a great garden big enough for a bit of football, badminton and generally just messing about in. The Gite is within a 10 minute cycle to the local baker for bread in the morning and a local mini super market for essentials and the nearest village is lovely for a wander about. There are a couple of slightly bigger towns with super markets, restaurants, etc. Vendee is beautiful and we intend to return to do some more exploring - however the Gite is great for a chill out if you don’t want to do that. The hosts Roland & Becs were super helpful throughout including organising our visit to the vets a couple of days before we travelled back home. I would highly recommend staying at the Gite. N

Family holiday

As a family of three generations we spent 6 days in this beautiful holiday home. The barn has been beautifully restored and has so many appliances that you want for nothing. The heated swimming pool was a real added bonus. The accommodation was rural and we really enjoyed the tranquility but equally it is really well placed in east reach of many major attractions. The games room was a real hit. Roland and Bex are ideal hosts. Always responsive both throughout the booking stage and our stay. Thank you Be. And Roland for all your helpfulness and kindness to us while we were there. A much enjoyed holiday everything was beautiful in every way.

Superb property

A lovely gite in peaceful surroundings. Perfect for a relaxing stay. Used the pool every day - Roland made sure it was ready for use, including cleaning and topping up the water level during our stay. Lovely to either sit around the pool or under the shade of the walnut tree when it got a bit too hot for us! Roland and Becks were very welcoming and gave recommendations for the area (do try the O Clem restaurant in the nearby village and the Mouette Brewery restaurant), as well as a welcome pack of provisions when we checked in. They were there when we needed, but not intrusive in any way. The gite was incredibly well stocked and very comfortable. Our teenage boys (19 & 17) enjoyed the games room as well as the pool, and there was plenty of room in the garden to set up a badminton net. It was also useful to have wi-fi for the evenings. We would highly recommend this gite and hope to go back!
