'Awesome 3 night stay in early May in a nicely decorated and refurbished over water bungalow. Quiet and tranquil. Spectacular views from all the bungalows and around the property. Excellent service. A hands on general manager who personally greets each guest and who was always available for questions and comments. As an avid paddle boarder I enjoyed use of the boards provided for guests. The bungalows sit in waist deep water perfect for swimming, walking, or watching the Eagle Rays swim by.'

'We had a great stay at Havai'i lodge. It's a beautiful and quiet property in a cul-de-sac and the place is comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. It's shared with another room, but since we were out and about all day and only had our coffee and breakfast at the place, it wasn't a problem. We recommend having a car on Raiatea as it's much easier to get around this beautiful island. The host helped arrange a car for us, which was nice.'

We did the overwater deluxe bungalow and it was the most incredible room I have been in. The glass cut outs in the floor and just how big these villas are made it feel like our own private oasis. 'Best hotel ever. Everything you hear and read about this hotel, all true. Staff very kind and hospitable, bungalows are picture perfect. Great breakfast. The lagoon sanctuary is the best to relax by the water. Already planning to return, but this time with my kids.'
