We arrived to a nightclub like feel outside the front of the hotel and were not greeted by any hotel staff. My partner and I entered and looked around and then returned out front where we found the bellman socializing with the nightclub goers and ignoring us. It was only after I requested he separate from his friends to help us with our luggage did he assist us. Then when we got to the check in the nightclub on the same floor was so loud we could barely hear anything. Then once we got to our room we could still hear the music pounding from our room. I went downstairs immediately and said it was midnight and we could not sleep. The hotel manager said the hotel "was completely sold out" and if he were to move us we would have to move back to our original room the next day. I told him that this was unacceptable and we would not pay $1000 per night to have to sleep above a nightclub we could hear. It was only after going downstairs twice (at 1 in the morning) that all of a sudden another room became available. My partner later told me the next morning to check online to see if it was true they had no other rooms available. I checked and there were Multiple rooms in Multiple categories. So not only were we not assisted originally we were also lied to. Eventually they moved us to a new room but this should not have happened in the first place. Should not require me requesting multiple times to not have to sleep in a room that literally reverberated. And staff should be honest.
