'Hospitality of Sandro and his family is great. The house is unique and the partly private swiing pool super. In summer season airconditioning would be a welkome addition. '

'Wonderfull place for the whole family. The chef was really good and the yoga session was a great way to start the day. The pool area was perfect. '

'We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Santarsa. Elk gezin had zijn eigen badkamer en keuken en daarnaast was er ook een professionele gemeenschappelijke keuken (die wel wat klein uitviel qua werkruimte). Buiten een mooi groot zwembad dat om de twee dagen onderhouden werd. Vuilnis werd eveneens opgehaald. We hebben onze ogen de kost gegeven aan het formidabele uitzicht, het huisje was wel enkel te bereiken via een steile bergbeklimming van een 3-tal kilometer.'

'The Villa presents even better than in the photos and the grounds are beautifully maintained. Each bedroom we accessed had an ensuite bathroom which just added to the luxe feel. My mature parents could have the one bedroom downstairs which was perfect, all other bedrooms are located upstairs. Worth mentioning the outdoor sun lounges have also been replaced (since the photos) and adds further to the resort feel. Would highly recommend! '

'We had a fabulous week - we were 9 adults. Location was great - 5 minute drive up the hill to Cortona and 5 minute drive to grocery store and train station in Camucia. The property is spacious the garden is great. Note that 3 bedrooms are in an attached annex and 5 bedrooms in the main house. We had lovely dinners in the kitchen dining room every night. 'We enjoyed a very pleasant two weeks in Villa Marghi together with our dog. Villa Marghi is situated in a unique location and the view to the lake, Lago di Trasimeno, is incredible especially at sunset. 'Dit huis ligt aan het eind van een circa 1 km lange rots/gravel weg. Om er te komen heb je echt een hogere en krachtige auto nodig. Dan nog is er risico om een band lek te rijden, zoals ook ons overkomen. Het huis is prima, ruim en voorzien van alle gemakken. Karakteristiek en met smaak verbouwd. Het zwembad is prima en echt niet te klein zoals sommigen suggereren. De bedden zijn geen echte 2 persoonsberden, daarvoor zijn ze echt te smal. 'A wonderful villa with magnificent view - the photos don't do it justice. Great to get away from life for a week, enjoy the garden and pool, and see local area. Note it's a 15 min drive to the nearest road junction - but for us part of the charm and location.'
