Escape to our bright 30m2 maisonette in central France! Montignac is best known for its proximity to the famous Grottes de Lascaux, a pre-historic site with beautifully preserved paintings from the Palaeolithic age. The town sits on the banks of the Vézère River and its historic centre boasts picturesque narrow streets. Our lovely space comfortably accommodates 2 guests, but can sleep up to 4!

Our 1 BEDROOM Holiday House features a master bedroom that can sleep up to 2 guests. You'll find a single pull-out bed and an additional single sofa bed in the living area to accommodate additional guests. This residence is sometimes split level.

Get ready in the 1 BATHROOM with a separate WC. Bedroom and bathroom linens are provided! Keep your clothes clean with the on-site laundry facilities.

After a day of exploring the city, retreat to our comfortable LIVING SPACE. Curl up on the sofa and watch your favourite show on the TV (which may only offer French channels). Reconnect with loved ones back home using the Wi-Fi, available on site. In the early evening, step out onto the private balcony or terrace and enjoy the fresh air.

In the KITCHENETTE you'll find a microwave, a set of hotplates, a dishwasher, a fridge, a toaster, and a kettle. Start your morning with a cup of coffee, fresh from our in-suite coffee machine.

There are a number of other amenities you're sure to love when you stay at Résidence Les Bastides de Lascaux, where our property is conveniently located. These include access to the shared heated pool (available from April to September), the sauna (available for an additional charge), a shared barbecue, the on-site fitness centre, a ping-pong table, a pétanque court, and a badminton court. If you're travelling by car, we've got you covered with complimentary outdoor parking available on-site (subject to availability)!

If you would like to bring a pet, please let us know and we may be able to accommodate them for an additional fee of **€7/pet/night** (max. 2 pets).

Please note that a refundable damage deposit of €400 and a small daily tourist tax per night and person will be collected by the resort upon arrival. This amount is subject to change. Please consult the local municipality for the exact amount based on your stay dates. Final cleaning is included if the apartment is left clean; otherwise, a fee of €55–€80 (depending on size) will be charged. Mid-stay cleaning is available on request (payable on site).

LOCAL FAVOURITES:

We highly recommend taking a trip to the Lascaux II Caves, just a 3-minute drive or a 25-minute walk away, where you can see paintings estimated to be over 17,000 years old! If you're travelling by car, spend your days visiting sacred religious sites like the Saint-Leon-sur-Vezere church, just a 15-minute drive away. Active travellers will love kayaking or canoeing on the river. This residence is ideal for an active independent traveller, a family, or anyone interested in history.
