B&B in Montale

'Friendly reception keen on selling products from Fattoria Inalbi (same owner). Fantastic pool with beautifully maintained garden and views over the rolling hills of Tuscany. Room is clean and stylishly furnished with expensive looking materials. What prevents me from coming back are the small (only 190cm long) and uncomfortable beds; the mattress was one of the hardest I have ever slept on.'

'Cute bedroom with little balcony but didn’t like how the toilet is in with the shower. It was very small and made it slippery. It’s also a bit further out of the main area. Nice tea or coffee bar whenever you want it.'

'Despite receiving confirmation of our stay following the booking process, we received a message the night before our stay at the Five Suites saying we must pay our tourist tax before arrival - our confirmation clearly stating that this tax should be paid at the property (presumably on arrival). Further, the message said that we would receive instructions on how to pay, which were not forthcoming! I called Expedia that evening to complain and spoke to a young man, but he was unable to get hold...
