Don't judge a book by its cover.
Everything was great! The check-in process was smooth. The property from the outside looks a little strange, but it's actually really cool what they've done with the converted trailers! The rooms are comfy and surprisingly sound proof.

I liked the price since I only needed a room to sleep in for the night and move on. That's really where it ends. I checked in and was given a key card at the office by a very friendly man. I went to the room only to find that it was already occupied by a man who said he had one more night to stay there. Thankfully, he was fully dressed and not unkind about the situation. After getting another room and an apology, I got moved in. The floor was a bit gritty and there were a few whiskers in the bathroom sink. Sorry, but that is something I cannot stand even at home. But being exhausted after driving for 8 hours alone, I cleaned it myself and stayed. The bed was pretty comfortable but the pillows were too hard. Also, the hot water was available very quickly but so hot it literally would have scalded me had I not been careful. In a nutshell, I will not return to the Monahans Country Inn. P.S. I have no idea how they came up with that name. It is just the opposite of what it is.

For a place in middle of nowhere basically, the cost is great for a nights sleep while traveling through. And for those who may need longer stay in area, a full kitchen and plenty of space.

It’s a small Room with all the necessities for an over night stay kitchen fridge stove shower manager was super nice room is nice for the price but it’s not fancy it’s more like a man camp structured semi quiet with front dirt parking lot but like I said it’s cheap and convenient and it didn’t smell like a man’s camp it was decent maybe a little better pillows not so firm no breakfast for price it’s ok

This hotel is not recommended for families or couples it is mostly for the local construction or labor folks. Upon entering the premises it is a dirt parking lot filled with construction vehicles. The hotel is nothing more than a work trailer turned into a room to sleep. When we checked in it was already prepaid and we were told we needed to pay. I had to show proof of payment luckly I brought along a copy of all my Hotel.com payments of our cross country trip, otherwise I would have had to pay twice. Upon getting in our room, we found the sheets dirty with hair on them although the staff quickly change them out it should have never been this way. The toilet ran all night. When we left our car was covered with dust due to all the construction vehicles leaving through the parking area.

Great stay, great price!
Upon arrival, clerk was polite, got us checked in quickly, answered all of my questions regarding on-site laundry. Laundry room was exceptionally clean with plenty of machine. The front desk supplied the quarters and laundry supplies. The cabin was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Thumbs up! Affordable Non-smoking room 1night
Everything was decent, cleanliness was great in fact. I was satisfied with my service and condition if the room. Only note I would leave is that I would have appreciated the option of a smoking permitted room. Not really that big of an issue tho.

My wife and I enjoyed everything about our stay there. The room was clean and very comfortable. It has all the amenities you look for in a great hotel. The front desk was awesome and very friendly. We plan to stay there again in the future.

Decent budget stay
Unusual building option for motel. Cross between efficiency apartment and motel room. Even though it has full size refrigerator, range top, and large microwave, there are none of the usual accoutrements of an extended stay facility. Not even a coffee pot. Lamp was missing a bulb. Kitchen light fixture didn't work. Met my needs of decent bed and clean bathroom.
