'I took my son and my husband to celebrate their birthdays. We had such an awesome time. We enjoyed the beautiful immaculate decor from the time we walked in. And the place has a very calming spirit to it. The best part is check-in and check-out was easy , low pressure which my family and I enjoyed. The staff were just as welcoming as the place. Kyle helped us to our rooms and gave the most satisfying recommendations. We will visit again soon, and hopefully will win some money next time..🙏'

'Nice location. Breakfast is Nice. I would Prefer to have more opportuniteit to manage the airconditioning in The room, not only temperature and on/off. But thats a minor detail. Felt very welcome and plenty parking space and a good bed.'

'Clean room, very nice front desk staff, breakfast is included and has lots of variety and ample seating in dining area, free shuttle to Mohegan Sun which is five minutes away if you prefer to drive yourself, close to stores and restaurants, on-site free guest parking, guest elevator. I've stayed here several times before and would stay again. Room rates are very reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. '

'Wij hadden de kleinste kamer geboekt tegen een hele scherpe prijs. Het bed was uiterst comfortabel. Geen koelkast of waterkoker, maar roomservice bracht gratis ijs om de drankjes te koelen. Erg mooie faciliteiten, zoals een verwarmd buitenzwembad. Prettig dat er ook badjassen op de kamer hingen, zodat je echt als 'spa-gast' door de accommodatie kon lopen. '

'Loved everything about our stay from the easy check in to check out. We stayed in the Southwest room. The level of detail was above and beyond from soft Christmas music playing in our room when we entered, the stockings hanging on the fireplace to the candles and little matches around the jacuzzi. Breakfast was great. I can’t truly describe how every little thing was thought of and provided and we were able to truly relax. We will definitely be back. '

'The House of 1833 is a beautiful old home with an amazing collection of antiques. It is surrounded by old English style gardens. In late September we were a bit too early for fall colors. The owner is delightful and helpful and the food was wonderful! '
