'My Wife and I enjoyed our stay at Tru by Hilton Columbia Downtown. We booked from Saturday to Monday and the hotel was fully booked. The price was very reasonable compared to the value you receive. Comfortable feel and modern property. The staff is extremely friendly. We had the pleasure of checking in with Lillie at the reception desk. The general manager sent me a message prior to our check in date, which I appreciated. We received messages from the Hotel staff asking how everything was going...

'This appears to be a newer hotel and overall looked to be in good condition. The breakfast selection was the best we've seen in a long time. Unfortunately, our room was on the side next to a busy road so there was some noise, but not enough to keep us awake. The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure was excellent. '

'I arrived around 9 pm hoping to get into bed without delay. Unfortunately the room they gave me was not cleaned to my surprise. I had to go back to the reception and it was ok the second time around. When I went to open the curtains in the morning, I stepped into the wet carpet around the AC unit. Otherwise the room is comfortable, clean and has everything you need to longer stay.'
