'The main inn is charming. The bunkhouse is a different story, and the gap between the two is wide enough that I felt misled by the photos used to sell the property.
The room is tiny. Just know a king bed takes up almost all of the floor space, and the only other furniture are small nightstands, a luggage rack, a folding chair, and a closet with a curtain instead of a door. There is no room to unpack or move around comfortably. The dark green paint and trim look moody in photos, but in person...

'We stayed in The Cabin, which is a large converted pottery studio with a beautiful interior. Two king beds and very roomy. It was a beautiful interior with lots of amenities, such as a refrigerator, (no freezer). Lots a windows with a huge outdoor patio area. The location is fine. Note that Cashiers is a one light town. There is a fairly large grocery store about 5 miles away. You drive most anywhere you need to go. Very nice restaurants nearby. The brewery that is next door is a fun place to...

'It was perfect for what I needed it for. Very close to downtown (not walkable) and easy to get to neighboring towns. Beds are comfy and the room was clean. Friendly staff. Room smelled a little musty from humidity but that’s expected in an old motel. I would definitely stay again.'

'Really don't know how this place got such a good rating on hotels.com
Yes, the staff is very friendly and helpfull, but that's about it.
Negatives:
Light switches not working
Tv was broken
Wifi didn't work
Bathroom was full of mold and ants
I could not stand under the shower because the shower head was so low.
Breakfast didn't include bread
Positives:
Room was big
Bed was good
This place is not worth the amount of money you have to pay.'

Echt Expedia...
