Great gift shop, great restaurant inside the hotel clean and extremely comfy beds. Convenience of offsales in the building as well! I travel extensively for work, for over 10 years, and this has by far been the best bang for your buck ever!!! Highly recommend!'

'CUTE, RUSTIC AND lodge like. The rooms are simple..but have everyting you need. Bed was comforable..pillows were a bit flat but they give you two so that's nice. Staff was great.. we needed to leave early due to weather and they refunded the last night. Coffee pot in room. You can cook waffles if you want for breakfast. Pool was being repaired but looks nice. Saw 4 deer run through the property one morning. Walking distance to town square..near some very good restaurants..try the Walleye...

'Amazing first impression. Long driveway that ends at an absolutely stunning Log House. Easy access and the host was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to see the Northern Lights in all their glory in a peaceful and still setting. The rental unit is immaculate, new and stylish, well appointed and the kitchen is spectacular. I’m definitely going to stay there again if it’s available. 1000% the best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in.'

'The lodge was super cute and comfortable. We couldn’t get cold water from the sink in the bathroom and the tv wasn’t working right (could have called to fix it but was lazy and didn’t), but we enjoyed the location, the chairs outside to sit, and the bed was really comfortable.'

'We rented the lodge to celebrate our union ceremony and were absolutely blown away by the lodge. The pictures really do not do this gem service, it’s all the better in person. Family was breath taken by the river view and the splendor of the lodge. With 16 people it felt absolutely comfortable and not in any way crowded. The stay blew our expectations away! It was the north shore location of my dreams.'

'My partner and I stayed two nights with our 1 year old pup and had a great time. The roads up the Gunflint were well plowed and the hosts gave us instructions for an easy self check-in. The room was affordable, clean, the bed was comfortable, and the upstairs shared kitchen/community space has a large deck overlooking the lake. Hosts were great with communication.'
