I was there on April 11th, Saturday. At night it was about 9:30–10:00 pm. My room was on the ground floor. I heard guests from us stairs running and it was loud my ceiling was shaking i couldn’t sleep.
I called front desk, and explained to him. He said he would go check it out. Then i hear the noise again it was worse i got scared i thought people upstairs were mad that u complained.
I then call the gentleman at the front desk again and told him i am from room 201.. he was like
“ okkk how can i help you with absolutely cranky and annoyed mood”!!!
and was asking him were people upstairs mad at me because the noise got worse. And I told him i couldn’t sleep because ir was loud.
The hotel staff responded “there is no one running up there”
I said: “i heard it i have video record” and would you come in here and listen to it”?
Hotel staff; No..!! and then said what do you want me to do?? this is hotel people will run amd people will walk..!!
i then asked him what if you do if you were me he said; i would put the fan on..!!!!!!!! so i wouldn’t hear the noise from upstairs!!!
(i was in shocked..!! the way he responsed i was there alone and i am woman i didn’t feel safe overall)
I m just a bit surprised IHG hires this staff.
I truly believe and trust this brand IHG. But from that experience I dont knownwhat to expect anymore.
