The corner house in the "Cortijo de Calahonda" complex built in 2004 was renovated in spring 2018 and furnished to a high standard. Despite the quiet location in a cul-de-sac, you can walk to the shopping center "Los Olivos" with a large supermarket, pharmacy, newspaper kiosk, hairdresser and a very good café-restaurant in 3 minutes, the "Centro Comercial El Zoco" with numerous restaurants (Spanish / Chinese / international / Belgian / English), bars, discotheque and other shops can be reached in another 3 minutes and the beach in another 4, i.e. from the house in 10 minutes. To Marbella it takes 10 minutes by car, but also by bus (stop 8 minutes on foot). In good traffic conditions, the airport of Málaga, 35 km away, can be reached in under 25 minutes by car (taxi approx. € 60).
Of the more than 70 golf courses on the Costa de Sol, also known as "Costa del Golf" due to the highest golf course density in Europe, over a dozen can be reached within a quarter of an hour by car, three of them within 5 minutes.
In addition to the beaches of Calahonda within walking distance, there are also other beaches such as B. the dunes of Cabopino with a textile-free section or the naturist beach of Mijas only a few minutes away by car, as well as the picturesque marina of Cabopino. Everywhere typical local beach restaurants take care of the physical well-being. Between Calahonda and Marbella there are several exclusive beach clubs such as B. "Nikki Beachclub" or "La Cabana". The water park "Aquamijas" in Fuengirola can also be reached in just 10 minutes by car.
If you want to shop to your heart's content, you should definitely visit "La Cañada", the largest shopping center on the Costa del Sol, just 10 minutes away by car, above Marbella.
The "Cortijo de Calahonda" complex has a well-tended garden with a large salt water swimming pool and a separate children's pool. The facility consists of two rows of houses, each with 10 units. For each row there is a separate entrance with a closed gate (intercom with video surveillance).
The house is also directly accessible through the closed double garage (automatic opening) in the underground garage. Here you get into the basement of the house, where there is an additional room with a shower room.
On the ground floor is the spacious living-dining area with an open fireplace and access to the garden terrace of over 30m², from which it is only around 30 meters to the pool. In addition to the fully equipped kitchen with a small balcony, the hall and a guest toilet complete this floor.
Upstairs are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. From here, a staircase leads to the roof terrace, from which there is a wonderful view over Calahonda to the Mediterranean Sea, which is only 500 m away as the crow flies. The roof terrace has a shower to cool off between and after sunbathing, which can be enjoyed here in a completely private atmosphere.
The living areas consist of marble floors and a central air conditioning (hot / cold) that can be controlled separately for each area. All bedrooms have spacious fitted wardrobes.
The kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, dishwasher and washing machine. Ironing boards and irons are also in the house, as are hairdryers in the bathrooms.
In addition to the solid wooden dining table in the house, there is a large garden table with eight chairs and a gas grill and four sun loungers with cushions on the terrace. Another four deck chairs are on the roof terrace.
Satellite TV with hundreds of international channels in the living area and WIFI throughout the house.
