I think this is my first ever review in 40 years of travelling around the world. Small issues have cropped up in those times but nothing concerning or that wasn’t dealt with. However with this property the customer service was so poor that it has to be described. The communication on accessing the property and the property itself were very good. However on the second day I inadvertently locked the keys into the apartment. I immediately called the helpline at 6.15pm and a lady told us she would make enquiries as to getting back in. After a short time she texted back saying that no duplicate key was available and to call a locksmith- number provided. We asked about the owners or cleaners having a key- not available. All communication ceased after this even though the helpline was stated as open until 7pm. An emergency line was unanswered along with the locksmith and a second locksmith- number obtained locally. My girlfriend then realised that her medication was in the apartment and she was uneasy about possibly leaving her hair straightener on. This was relayed to the original helpline with no reply. I also contacted hotels.com and the property management- no reply. We obtained alternative accommodation for the night and when we arrived the next morning the front door to the building was open by the cleaners. We contacted the locksmith again who opened the door in 10 seconds for €120. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions on the blatant disregard to us and the property.
