Calahonda is a great place from which you can visit cities like Malaga and Marbella. There are also nice beaches in the area. We liked Cabopino beach the most.'

'I’ve rented a few holiday lets from vrbo but this host was probably the best. They sent me a google pin of the place, the written address and a picture of the gate I needed to access. The owner met us with the key and gave us a walk through and a list of local restaurants etc. I’m not exaggerating when I say the apartment had EVERYTHING from shower gel, mozzy plugs dish soap even coffee pods!!! 'Fantastic apartment. Is equipped with everything you need, including wifi. Walking distance to shops, bars, beach and restaurants. Is situated at the top of a fairly steep hill, but we just went to the shop first thing in the morning, when it was cooler and took our time walking back up. Correspondence with owner was brilliant. 'A lovely studio apartment in La Cala. Short and lovely walk from centre of town and also directly on boardwalk so great for those that like a morning walk/run. Fran was very helpful through the booking and beyond. Beautiful views. '
