'The lodgings, food and service was fantastic! I felt like I was in a Jane Austin film and loved every second. The room was updated, comfortable and very cozy for the winter.
The food at the resturant was the best meal we had in Tassie and would come back again just for that. Staff were friendly and overall a 5 star experience.'

'I booked for three nights but left after two. It was very basic budget accommodation and that was fine - financially it was a good deal. However, the hotel is situated on Bathurst Street, which is one of the city's traffic sewers. The windows are originals and provide no protection from noise. Hence I was awoken by very loud trucks both mornings at 4 am and could not go back to sleep. There should be a curfew on the wretched things but that's another story.
